Our approach
Community Aquatics n’ Occupational Engagement’s (CANOE)® approach to occupational therapy may differ from the norm. Our job is to help you & your family get more tools in your toolbox so that you can do all the activities you need, want, or have to do in a day done! Our job is not to “fix” you, but to meet you where you’re at and work on skills or adaptations that YOU want to participate in you daily life.

A free private event for disabled children, teens, & adults. Caregivers, parents, and CNAs & PDNs are welcome. Hosted at Englewood Recreation Center
MAY’S EVENT IS AT CAPACITY AND FULL. WE CANNOT TAKE ANYMORE RSVPs AT THIS TIME. We will be having another event in August 2024 so stay tuned for that RSVP when it opens!

In-person & remote options available
Currently CANOE® comes to your home & community pools. The general area available for in-person travel to you services is the Southwest Denver area; Denver, Lakewood, Sheridan, Englewood, Littleton, Ken Caryl, Columbine, and Highlands Ranch. See picture (RIGHT) for more details of our travel to area. Outside our area? - That’s OKAY! You can travel to our locations for outpatient or aquatic therapy services at Sensory Club Denver, Englewood Recreation, and Ridge Recreation Center.

Occupational Therapy Services
CANOE® offers occupational therapy services to people ages 2mo-26years old. Currently being offered in person in the state of Colorado, and remote options available in the states of Colorado & Michigan.
Aquatics & Learn-To-Swim
CANOE® offers aquatic therapy & learn to swim classes. We are a licensed trained provider with the American Red Cross for learn-to-swim and water safety lessons. Aquatic therapy is a unique service that offers a blend of occupation therapy and learn to swim. Offered in the state of Colorado.
