    Parking:

Okay we all know parking will be interesting here since we are closer to Belmar. Attached are maps for parking.

    1) Please park your vehicle either on top of the parking structure for Lakewood Police Department ONLY in non-designated spots and then come down the stairs back to the loading zone.

    2) If you cannot ambulate up/down stairs please park your vehicle behind the City of Lakewood Government Building OR behind the Lakewood Cultural Center (470 S Allison Pkwy, Lakewood, CO 80226). From there, there is an accessible bridge that leads back to the loading zone.

    3) If you are coming by yourself and cannot walk, please park in the accessible handicapped parking in front of the police department.

I encourage you to look at the pre-made maps, use Google maps and zoom in and out, or ask me questions. It could become confusing the day of so I want everyone to feel prepared. Everyone coming to this event has at least 1 person in their family with disabilities so almost everyone will have a handicapped placard for their vehicle. There are VERY limited spots for handicapped parking in front of the police station. If you can, please leave these spots for non-ammbulatory solo participants OR caregiver and child both use wheelchairs etc. If someone can walk in your household, please use the parking behind Lakewood Cultural Center and use the accessible bridge and sidewalks to get to the event.

There will be large water jugs available to refill containers for water bottles. BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLES. Please wear sun protective gear or sunscreen, swim suits or water friendly clothes, bring towels, and prepare to have a great time!

THANK YOU ALL! Your attendance means so much to me and I absolutely love to help the community as much as I can. It is a joy to have these events.
