CANOE® offers occupational therapy services to people ages 2mo-26years old (Older than 26yrs, that's great! We take adults too so don’t worry! Chat with us and we'll see if its a good fit!) Currently being offered in person in the state of Colorado, and remote options available in the states of Colorado & Michigan. See about tab for even more information!
Insurance-Based Occupational Therapy Services
Online or in-person, CANOE offers care directly through our company, we are a Medicaid Health First Colorado provider via outpatient services. We are also working on some private insurances! Stay tuned for more!

Aquatic Therapy Program
This a specific tailored program that involves both occupational therapy services and learn to swim skills. This tailored program also involves parent training specific to a child’s abilities. This can be paid for through:
-Colorado Medicaid Waivers (CES/SLS)
-FSSP
-Mill Levy Funding/Unmet Needs
-Medicaid Insurance
-DDRC - Unmet Needs
-DP
-RMHS
-Jefferson County Human Services
-Private pay.
There are also opportunities to get funding through Denver local non-profits that CANOE partners with. These services offered in person for Colorado and remotely for Michigan. Fill out a contact form for more information.
Private Pay Aqua Therapy & Water Safety Combined Learn to Swim Program
45 minutes: $60/one session OR $175/3 Pack ($5 off when purchase a 3 pack)
60 minutes: $80/one session OR $235/3 Pack ($5 off when you purchase a 3 pack)
If you don’t believe your child or yourself (adult) cannot tolerate 45 minutes, fill out a contact form as smaller options can be customized.
Lesson Plans
In addition to any of the packages above, families can add on therapy/lesson plans to each of these services for $5.00 per plan. Therapy/lesson plans are customized to each child’s abilities and are meant to be used at home, in the bathtub, or local pool without the trainer being present. Please note if you are planning on purchasing home plans, parent training of some nature is a requirement.

Beyond the normal aquatic therapies (of which she is on the cutting edge and SOOO knowledgeable), she is always teaching me and him some much about all of his development - movement, skills, things she is noticing, changes we might make at home, etc, etc.. While we are in the pool, she is noting things he is or could be doing and suggesting things we might adjust outside of the pool to help him.
